PETA asks Ben & Jerry's to use breast milk
MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - Ice cream made from breast milk? That's what the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants Ben & Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream to consider making.
The Virginia-based nonprofit group sent a letter to company co-founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield on Tuesday asking them to use human breast milk instead of cow's milk in their products.
Ben & Jerry's spokesman Rob Michalak said the company applauds PETA's creative approach to bring attention to an issue, but believes that a mother's milk is best used by a child.
nahhh ... PETA isn't a bunch of whakos is it? :pity:

"A man's suffering is similar to the behavior of gas. If a certain quantity of gas is pumped into an empty chamber, it will fill the chamber completely and evenly, no matter how big the chamber. Thus, suffering completely fills the human soul and conscious mind, no matter whether the suffering great or little. Therefore, the "size" of human suffering is absolutely relative." - Viktor Frankl

My first question would always be .... "WHO'S breast is this milk coming from???"

I love you Mom, you are the greatest woman that I've ever known.

My first question - depending on how the who is it coming from turns out - would be: Where can I apply for assisting in the milking process?
We can forgive a man for making a useful thing as long as he does not admire it. The only reason for making a useless thing is that one admires it intensely. All art is quite useless.
i love animals as much as the next guy but if you're taking milk from a cow i don't think that's hurting the animal at all. of course i'm not a cow so i can't say one way or the other with 100 percent but i bet it feels better to a cow to be milked than to be made a hamburger.

In Germany they had this huge campaign where naked actresses and models and singers and basically every boob you'd love to lay your hands on went like "I rather go naked than wearing pelts". Now if they were to volunteer, sign me up for some serious milking. Good thinking, PETA!

:D thanks

I'll volunteer and donate to PETA if I can assist. Or maybe just watch.

Absolutely amazing to me these people havent already found a way to negate their own existence.
I swear 95% of the crap they come up with is directly out of a Monty Python movie...

I'll sneak you in as soon as I hear back from them about my application
Speaking of which ... should I put "extensive knowledge of nipples" under education or practical experience?

Its actually a pretty crappy life for a diary cow. The conditions on a factory farm are very deplorable. It would probably make most of us sick. Make no mistake, the dairy cows get turned into hamburger.
But PETAs approach is pretty

yeah. but it's from a cow not a blonde or brunette walking down the road. if i'm getting it from either of them it's from the source and with a lack of milk.
