1) He was a Jets & Pats coach
2) As an NFL coach he is a mediocre
3) He bailed hard on USC (not that I care for USC but just give me a no comment over the BS)

Isn't he the guy that would go out into the ghetto ALONE and talk to troubled youngsters and try to get their lives turned around?? If it is then you probably shouldn't be calling him a douchebag...just sayin.

Don't know but as far as football he's still a douche. Regarding life he might be the greatest man alive. I keep the 2 separate.

I don't know how you can judge his tenure with the Jets as the HC. He only (unfairly) lasted a year. I liked him as both our DC and our coach, but really stopped following his career once he got fired. I do like his enthusiasm for the game.

He was with the Jets. For me that is enough............
