I think there are age requirements with Prisco's team, thus, players like Wake and Fields aren't eligible, if I am not mistaken.

IMO we have top 5 at their position guys in Pouncey, Jones, Wake and Fields. If Tannehill joins that group then we have some nice talent at high impact positions (QB, pass rusher, C and S). I also think Jordan has the talent to get their eventually and that Ellerbe is close.

 

Team talent is far better than five years ago, that's for sure.

 

With our history, you definitely have to be a little pumped on the yes slow but steady climb on talent.

But we live and die with Tannehil. We can always continue a search to put talent around a good QB but without the QB, all is lost. Back to square 1.

 

I think the criteria for the list is 26 or under. It's not a true best in the league at each position. It's a best young player list.

 

I like Jones, but I'd take Earl Thomas at FS

Yeah, thephins.com brain trust is apparently very ageist. Not a single moderator over 55 yrs old. I think we are a special part of the forum and this place is damn lucky to have us, and in the interest of fair representation, one of us should be a moderator. Not me though, I'm too much of a loose cannon. Maybe RevRick or that other Navy fella from Georgia. I think he maybe our oldest member, and that would be pretty cool if the oldest member got to be a moderator.

 

I'd pick Kam Chancellor for SS, if that were me doing it.
