I was all disappointed about the rift between New Line and Peter Jackson and Co. that, at one time, all but ended any possibility of Jackson doing the Hobbit movies. Now they have all made amends and some preliminary stuff is already taking place to get production underway. Yes, TWO movies. Looks like one will focus on the original Hobbit book and the other will be made using some work (notations and such) by Tolkien that was written in original manuscripts. I, for one, am excited about this. For any LOTR fan, this is great news. Jackson is a genius movie maker and did a phenomenal job with the LOTR trilogy. http://www.aintitcool.com/node/35108
Cool, and it makes sense, all of the work that Jackson's production company did on LOTR will make a "Hobbit" movie much easier to make. The second film is curious though?
Not too big on The Hobbit. Lord of the Rings was fine, but this is going to feel like a cash-in. Honestly, I would rather see Halo.
Wow...this is awsome. Like many of you I am a huge fan of LoTR. 2010 will be a year I will certainly be looking forward to....pray tell a return to greatness for a certain football team, as well as a holiday release of the Hobbit. Cant wait to see Smog...
