FanNation | The Peter King Challenge
Reading his comment about the game you would think he would be picking Miami.

Good. More fuel to the fire.
And there is that little fact that we have never beaten them,PMZQ likes this. -

I was going to start another thread but decided against it.
ESPN - Sunday Countdown online: Your weekly NFL guide - NFL
4 out of 5 pick Miami to win with Mort the only one picking Houston. -
Pete Prisco also picks Houston to win.
NFL - CBSSports.com Football -
Yahoo sports pcked houston too. I forgot how to get to the link. Just like with King, Yahho's analysis made you think they were picking Miami

I think Peters comment about Houston Rushing attack on Indi is overstated.... He simply forget to see that Indi is DEAD LAST (32) against the RUN... giving almost 190 yds per game...
and Peter... guess whose Defense is averaging over 100 yards less than Indi's???
Seems like another BALL CONTROL game for the Fins...
The question is can the Fins score more than what they scored against NE???
EDIT- I know I seem crazy, but it must be that team swagger that is going around... -

Miami has a bad habit of beating themselves. If we continue to be efficient, not get dumb penalties, or turn the ball over we will win. I'm less concerned about the Texans themselves.

To me this game is all about who wants a top 10 pick next year.I don't think we can lose this game and not end up picking in the top ten next year.
If we can't beat a 0-4 team at their home, then things really have not change.Last edited: Oct 9, 2008 -
Peter King should taken notice of the fact that Travis Johnson's play ahs nosedived this year - he has 4 total tackles, last year he had 41. Amobi Okoye has not played as well as last year either. Those two indicate that the Texans are getting gashed up the middle, and they are. They are allowing 4.5 yards per carry at the moment, that is not good.

What pisses me off about Prisco's ranking is that under the "EXPERT PICKS" section, he chooses one team, and under the Prisco's Picks, he picks the other team to win.
This week it wasnt the case, but if you go back to last week and before, it was the case. Check it out. Harmon's Forcast did it this week -
Looking at the the cbs preview of the game i'm struck by something. if you look at the rushing yards allowed you'll see that Houston is allowing 139.8 yards a game while we are allowing only 82.8 yards a game. If their run defense is that porous we are going to run roughshod over them.

Sure enough, all of the ESPN "experts" pick them too.

i'm worried about this game as well. i've grown confident over the past two games but i'm not cocky.
as the players and coaches of miami will tell you themselves (in interviews on miamidolphins.com) the texans are not a 0-4 team. i mean they don't play like an 0-4 team (meaning they're not -that- bad). any team in the NFL is a good team. They had an awesome game vs. indy and then had the worst 3 minutes in football history.. besides the pats SB game last year ;)
