I think he made strides with BMarsh as a teammate. I really think he saw what was possible for him.

Wallace had a really big play somewhere down the stretch I think. It's no wonder he ended up standing out.

FWIW the guy that's with Peter King is Neil Hornsby of Pro Football Focus, and he talked about the QBs and agreed that David Garrard seems way, way ahead of the other QBs. He said that these are the most drops they've seen, though he couldn't be sure if that was the result of the Dolphins being in pads and doing live tackling, whereas everyone else they've seen were in shells with not as much physical contact.

Where Peter King focused on Davone Bess and gave a casual mention to Roberto Wallace, I think Hornsby focused mostly on Wallace as being the most impressive of the day.

Even then all we're going to get is anecdotes about how humid it is in South Florida, how bad the coffee is at Dolphins HQ, and how shameful the Marlins are for trading Hanley Ramirez away.

hope I'm not the only one who took 2 minutes to figure out this puzzle.

Then when I got it I was like, "oh yeahhhh, you mean that guy who was on our team last year and the year before.". lol.

Actually, he was interviewed by Aglr on the Finsiders today after practice.

Reiterated that Garrard seems more comfortably, playing athletically, very accurate, picking the right receiver, and "this is a guy who has this offense". Gut instinct is Garrard starts.

I disagreed with him saying the 4-3 might be worse for Wake because he won't run as free, and will have more linemen to deal with. Anyone who has watched a lot of Wake knows that his best asset is his initial accelration *when his hand is in the dirt*. Lining up at end emphasizes that advantage more than when he had to drop as a linebacker at times last year, or stand up at the snap.

Decent visit by King, but nothing spectacular or surprising.

Exactly, dummy talk from King as the Kraken is ALWAYS more effective coming out of the Suggs position in the defense, ie, hand in the dirt, off shoulder of the Tackle.

Kraken is a badass dragster, not so much as a blitzer standing up b/c he lacks the hips to fool anyone imo.

I don't agree with the dragster analogy. They only race in a straight line. I'd more prefer to think of him as someone who corners well too. Like a NASCAR driver.

...I'm pretty sure I've seen him rush from the left side turning right though.

Wake has always been best on the left side. I don't think it has as much to do with going against the RT instead of the LT as it just seems to be more natural to him. He did do a lot more work from the right side last year and seems to be getting better at it.

    Agree with the cornering.
I've never seen a person turning a corner with such speed with their body almost parallel to the ground to avoid the block.
