I saw Henne doing that last week when I watched the replay. I had to make sure I recorded the right game. "The Henne Unleashed" will be a good thing.
To be fair, he did do it in 86. But I do like the guy who has 80 catches 1200 yards. Why? Isn't 1,000 yards a thousand yards? It is, but if you can do it with less plays, you have less snaps, your offense is less tired, keep the defense on their toes, and less chances for mistakes. That's why a 1000 yard season from Desean Jackson is that much more effective. 47 catches, 1065 yards? That's insane. but if we open up our offense and Marshall can resemble his 2007 self, we have ourselves a winner. My fantasy partner effed up and we ended up with Garrard and Campbell as our QB, so I just picked up Henne as a longshot. I hope Marshall reverts back to his 2007 self. I have $300 riding on it!
Granted, but I'm sure everyone understood the point. Look at Lloyd with the same team and QB. He had 1450 yards on 77 catches, and 11 TDs last year. Garrard and Campbell? Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!! Against those two, Henne is not a long shot. He may be your savior, and ours as well.
Mitchell was the Saints 4th overall defensive player for 2010, and been one of their better kick and punt coverage men the past 3 years. Only Saints player with more STs tackles the last 3 years combined was Courtney Roby who had 25, to Mitchell's 24.
In run defense, as per PFF last season, Davis was 13th, Smith was 17th and Samuel was 96th amongst corners with 25% or more snaps played.
MC, See you signed up for PFF. What do you think? It took me two weeks to figure out all they had to offer.
Last season, for pass coverage, PFF rated Smith 14th and Davis 31st overall. For total grades for corners, Smith was 8th and Davis was 14th. Not many teams had a pair of corners as good or better by PFF grades. Some who did were KC, Tampa, and Chicago.
I was on there a lot when it was all free. Then when they made it subscriber only, at first they had the annual rate much higher than $30, so this is a bargain. Always finding new stuff to compare.
