I really hope this isn't true. Jay Glazer just reported that Shwartz and Sparano are still in the mix but said not one word about Tice. Hopefully this is just a horrible rumor.

 

I dont care if we interview him, even give him some kind of job (though unless its HC we wont get him from the Jags), but if we give him the HC job? Man, I might have to take a football hiatus.

 

Sparano will be the HC, make no mistake about it.

Mike Tice is the punchline for many jokes on profootballtalk.com. It's truly sad. If we hire that idiot I am going to have a very hard time remaining sane. And if Parcells is stupid enough to want Tice then Parcells must have Alzheimers.

Wow...does Bill Parcells really want a yes man this much?

 

Yeah, he definitely looks like a meathead. But, I think a better comparison is "Dauber" from the sitcom "Coach".

To quote one of my favorite scenes from the show:

Coach: "Dauber, how many words can you type?"
Dauber: "Uhhh ... all of 'em coach."

 

I think it's because he bears a strong resemblance to Rob Reiner, who played Archie Bunker's son-in-law on the old 60's Sitcom. Archie always called him "Meathead" .

 

Good old Dauber (Bill Fagerbakke) graduated from the same highschool as I did.

 

tice reminds me more of the guy that played on sienfeld as elaine's (sp) boyfriend also played the gaurd guy that talks to the squirrell in emperors groove..
i don't want him anywhere near the phins org as a hc,oc,dc..but hasn't he been a st coach before? he could replace armstrong but that would be a demotion from the jags. i can't believe parcells even considered a interview with him. he could get on with the falcons though as nobody in their right mind should want to take that job at the moment.

Maybe Parcells is interviewing Tice as a favor to him. I recall hearing on espn that Tice considers Bill as a mentor.

 

yea thats the guy..my wife is a sota/buc fan. i'd never hear the end of it. seen the "losers dance" too friggin much this season. i don't think i could handle another full season of it.
