LOL! Also just listening to Big O's interview with Sean Smith, Sean hadn't even heard anything about Merling being out for the year with an Achilles. Big O broke it to him on the air looking to see how he reacted when he found out and Sean was like "Really?" He sounded really bummed about it, said that Merling had been doing so good in camps and stuff. Quickly rebounded to talk about how the other guys need to step up. More comments on Koa Misi, because Big O asked. He said that Koa is always angry on the football field, he doesn't know if he's ever seen him smile once on the field in all the time they've spent at Utah together.
I'd agree with the article if you substituted "bust" for "complex".....ok, that's a little harsh, but I'm not so sure that we'll be seeing him develop [for this team anyway] given his lack of production so far, his off-field issues and now the injury.... He's gathering up strikes against him like they were pick-up sticks...
I know he is a young guy andwas just entering his third season in the NFL but it was a top pick and was suppose to be a stud. With all the issues he has had i really don't seem him in the roster next season or for that I would not be surprised if he gets cut or traded during this season.
Merling stinks like an onion! I'm a complex guy too. But none of my layers includes beating my pregnant girlfriend. CUT!
Right, because a 300lb professional NFL DE who really beats his GF is only going to end up giving her a little redness and puffiness on her face.
some dude: "Hey Vic! what'd you do over the weekend?" Vic Koenning: "I saw Shrek 2..." some dude: "How'd you like it?" Vic Koenning: "IT BLEW MY MIND, mannn!"
This right here, is why I will always have a small smile on my face and say a thank you to Philip Merling.
Haha! That last pic has been my wallpaper at work for a year. Whenever work pisses me off, it picks up my spirits!
