Philbin 3rd in NFL.com's Coach's 'Power Ranking'

HC Power Rankings

Philbin getting some love from the NFL.com crowd, well ahead in their rankings over HC's with more wins.

Personally I think it's too early to say that he's the 3rd best HC in the NFL, he shows signs of going to be a good one but needs a lot longer body of evidence to make it into the top echelon. Still, it makes nice reading to see an article that puts the likes of Bellicheat and Ryan in his rear view mirror.

Of course Pagano is #1. And Philbin, Pagano, and Smith being above Harbaugh is just plain stupid.

I don't think you can argue with the Job Smith has done. Undefeated with the hardest part of their schedule behind them? Damn impressive.

I think that has much more to do with Mularkey going away.

I think also Philbin is getting that high of a ranking because people are still convinced the Dolphins are completely talentless, which we know is far from the truth.
