“I don’t think it’s all on the fans, I don’t think it’s all on the players but I think it’s on all of us to create that kind of spirit, that momentum and that positive direction that we’re going to take this franchise and build this thing back up.” – Philbin on the role the crowd should play in the home field advantage Can we just for one second, maybe 1 game, and think about how young we are as a team, think about how our QB has only had 20 starts, think about how much cap space we will have next year, think about the five picks we have in the first 75 of next years draft, think about how this is our new coaches first home game, think about how he wants to have the right kind of players on our team, with the right motives and standards as men and as professionals athletes, think about how difficult it can be on a players Psyche to walk into their first home game and hear a smattering of applause as the come out to their introduction, think about our present situation, and all the good, combined with what we have waiting for us this offseason. For those of you that go, just think about forgetting for the past for three hours, and make a change, make others around you try to change, and be as loud as you can.. Thanks to all those that go to this game..
couldn't agree more DJ. but given human nature, the only thing that's going to change the cynicism of our fanbase is winning, so those of us that are glass-half-full will just have to be patient, because I do believe we will be a good team by season's end.
