But the real reason I posted this link was for this quote:

Vikings too cheap to pay for travel for undrafted rookie. I'm sure it happens all the time, but it struck me as funny...and cheap.

    Go Grizzlies!

How much could it possibly cost the team to pay for transit and a hotel for a few nights? That's really weird. They must be getting ready for Favre to hit them up for a big bill or something.

How funny would it be if the kid actually defied the odds and became a star, and the Vikings would then come to be known as the team that let one get away because they wouldn't part with a little air fare.

Very cheap of the Vikes FO to do that. Of course the downside for this kid is that in exchange for Miami paying his way he has to listen to Jeff Ireland ask him:

    "Was your FATHER a prostitute?"

Minny must be hurting for money. I can't imagine it would cost more than a $1000 in airfare/hotel to bring in the guy for a camp.

Anyway, he seems like an athletic prospect. He has nice size and a 4.85 40. There are claims that he plays faster than his timed speed. He apparently lacks strength as a blocker. I think he made a wise choice coming here. No only did he save a grand or so but there is almost nothing between him and a roster spot. Fasano is the only TE we have that we should expect to lock down a spot. Everybody else would be considered below average prospects, at best.
