Would anyone be interest in a league if I brought this back? Obviously Id want a competitive league like we had for football. If youre there just to see where players are getting picked for your paid leagues thats no good. Just trying to gauge interest before I officially do so....
I'd be interested this year. Won my ESPN league against strangers last year. Would like something more interactive. Man, this is a slow section of the board if a post from 10 months ago is the newest!
What service would we be using? ESPN is my normal one, but their game isn't back yet. I checked out Yahoo and its ok. MLB.com's system is confusing and doesn't seem to allow to choose which stats are used.
OK, I'm absolutely interested. If we can't get a group going here, I'd love to join another if anyone needs an extra guy. Played (and won) a random ESPN league last year where no one communicated with anyone else whatsoever. Might as well have been playing against robots. I'd also like to have a few deeper stat catagories beyond the basics. OBP and SLG would add a lot to the core five catagories, IMO.
Still need a handful more active players. We can do daily or weekly changes if it encourages people to be more active and set lineups regularly
I do as well but I find with baseball dead teams are more prevalent because the season is so long and it requires you to be active every day. If it facilitates a better league and makes it easier to have people participate...I'll do weekly
For those of us very willing to update the team every day (or multiple times a day!), daily lineups provide an advantage for the same reasons
I'll play. Just a suggestion if you want to keep people interested all year, I find that Head to head leagues do a really good job at that as I've seen countless times last place teams at the all star break make comebacks to make the playoffs. And I like setting my line up daily, it's more like actual baseball. Thanks for setting it up Boik. How many people do you want and need now?

I'd still love to play. Getting close though. At least we know for pretty certain who's going to be healthy and on what team at close to 100%.

Also you guys will want to look at the scoring format. Changed it up some from your standard 5x5 style league...
