Had a conversation with a friend of my son. Kid is a Seahawk's fan. Freshly minted as of last year. He was laughing and asking me why I liked the Dolphins who "never" make the playoffs. Told him when I was a kid, the Dolphins were an *** kicking machine and teams like the Seahawks were a fkn joke. That is up until about a dozen years ago when the blight that was Wanny and Spielman's tenure. Been downhill ever since. What sets us apart is that we aren't fickle with our loyalties, nor are we band wagon fans. I find most of the Dolphins fans to be 30 somethings or older. Lots of em still out and rooting for the days we return to being that *** kicking machine again. Here's hoping tis the season for it...
Yes, it is open to the public..someone posted it in a thread that it was open and the Times of each practice.. I am sorry that I cannot remember the Times of them.
I wasn't around for the 70s and wasn't old enough to really understand what happened in the 80s but it sure seems to me that the Dolphins haven't won consistently since they left the Orange Bowl. Sounds silly I know but some of the best and brightest minds in the sport have come to Miami and failed.
I wonder how long the Seachickens are going to be able to hold that up...after they pay Wilson. He's getting peanuts and that D is getting mad money...something will have to give.
They'll get Kawann Short, Star Lotulelei | Luke Kuechly, Thomas Davis, Shaq Thompson as a respite. lol
