From Reddit, here's a chart showing how Ill Belicheat's been able to keep Tua in check in previous meetings. As I said before, I expect it to be an ugly game. I'm encouraged that his best performance was with McD as coach.

Yeah but note the trend: 73.4, 79.6, 94.7 and 104.4 ratings. Simple linear regression predicts the next one to be 115.1. Would be hilarious if that prediction came true lol.

I’m not convinced Belichick can stop this offense. Knowing Belichick he’ll do what he can to stop Hill, but I think the Tua we saw week 1 can take advantage of that with the other WRs. And if he can, this is going to be a top level offense as long as the key actors remain healthy.

Looking forward to this game. We’re going to use the old pats offense and embarrass them on their home field.

watch for a bunch of short yardage sinks and dunks, tua will run a lot more dribble in some runs and out defense gets 2 picks.

Yeah, that's why I earlier suggested that tomorrow might be a great time to deploy Waddle, Smythe, Berrios and Cracraft. Heck, I can even imagine Ezukanma having a breakout game against their dime back if Tua's reads go that far. Was it last year's game that Waddle had probably the worst drop of his career while running open across the middle? Even though it probably wouldn't have scored, it would have changed the complexity of that game. It may have been the year before. But I expect them to bracket Hill to make somebody else step up.

Let’s see so against the Pats with Flores as HC Tua was below average and with McDaniels as HC Tua has been a pro-bowler.
And his HC on Sunday is?

I think you’re missing a lot of context here, which I think happens a lot in Tuas case and that’s the natural evolution of a Qb

Tua should not of played his rookie year but he did, we should be judging him relative to his peers in their first three years.

This imo is the main reason why some fans and pundits couldn’t see how the skillset would evolve therefore the hard criticism, some could.

I'm getting a little tired of hearing how genius Belichick is. How many SB's did he win without Brady? How many conference championship games did he reach without Brady? How many did Brady win without him?

Belichick is a defensive minded coach. His defenses have always been pretty darned good. A spectacular steel curtain that shuts down every offense? No, but pretty darned good.

The problem for Belichick has been the offensive side of the ball. Without Josh McDaniels…without Brady, New England’s offense has struggled. But New England has always been able to run the ball. That’s the only aspect of this game that concerns me.

Miami’s offense is scared good. I’d like to see the running game get some traction, but with the speed this offense has, I don’t even think Belichick can come up with an answer to stop it. Tua’s quick decision making and quick release, the receivers speed including Moestert coming out of the backfield, it’s going to be a very tall order for the Patriots to overcome.

Hill might get over 100 yards receiving, but I think Tua gets the ball spread out more this game than last week.

    Patriots: 16

The Giants are going to regret the contract they gave Daniel Jones, if they don’t already.

As long as we win tonight then who cares what some talking heads said? Lets face it, most of them are seen as incompetent at the best of times.

Just to be clear, I was annoyed by it. I don't care what they say, per se, but I was annoyed by it nonetheless.

Unless they let Murray play when he’s recovered from his injury, I doubt it. Then they have a big decision - draft Caleb Williams (and maybe Marvin Harrison Jr if the Texans suck), or stick with Murray and maybe trade #1 for a boatload to improve the roster.

3 safeties for Bellicheat tonight eh? Tua's gonna have to be smart underneath and get the ball to the backs alot. We have playmakers there. should still have success.

Coach Mike doing a good job adjusting and calling plays to counter what Bellicheat is doing.
