To be honest and the press being the press, using our starters against their backups is not going to improve anything. 1 We kick their backups rear ends the press will say, " Dolphins looked improved but remember, it was against some guys that will not be around Sun " 2 If Dallas stacks the box with the backups, which they surely will do, the press will say " Dolphins running attack anemic even against Dallas backups " I see no win win for anyone here at all by playing the starters. OK, want to play them, one MAYBE two series , then get em out.

This is absolutely correct. We simply cannot start every year 0-2 or 0-3 and expect to have any sort of lasting success. It's easier to run downhill than uphill. It's easier to sail with the wind than against the wind, and it's easier to make the playoffs when you can start off well. It's no magic formula, be we absolutely need to be full blast headed into the season.
