    good question. I think his base was 4.4. But I don;t know if he would want like a Haden deal.

    Griese and Moore got the memo from the team last nite, you could tell by all the superlatives being thrown Tjs way during the broadcast.."could be an all pro" being one

    The top 5 highest paid safeties in the NFL average from $10.25 million per year up to $13 million per year for Kansas City’s Eric Berry. McDonald is not in that company......But it would not surprise if McDonald can get a deal that averages between $6-$9 million per season. The total guaranteed money for those second tier contracts range from $9 to $19 million.

    I think goes along with the team's blueprint. When we added Maxwell, Lippett, Howard, it has become abundantly clear that we want bigger more physical corners. I think we are trying to essentially mold our defense around Seattle's team.

    Not a bad blueprint. This may turn out to be a great pick up. Losing 1/2 a season is tough but if it didn't happen we wouldn't have most likely gotten him.
