thought this would be fun (saw it on another board) predict what the first play of the game will be for the dolphins offense.... dont just say "run play" what run play? to the left? a sweep? ronnie? make it fun.....the winner (closest to the correct play) wins a shout out on my show.......? nah itll just be fun, check back here for the winner! woot!!! my pick....play action, curl route to bess for a 6 yard gain
handoff to Ronnie up the middle.....finds no room......bounces to the outside and gains 3 tough yards
Okay, Single back, Trips Right. Play action strong side counter, Penny hits Cam on a Medium Slant good for 17
Ronnie dive up the middle for 4 to set the tone for the rush *** kicking that the Falcons defense is going to get.
I've put some thought into this....We know our coaches are smart, i know they feel braketed in their scheme.... we must establish that we are not afraid to challenge vertically. Chad rolls out to the right , sets up outside the pocket, and lets it fly, to you know who. I dont care about the outcome... Its either that, or their going to show confidence in a group that we need to come together, Ronnie off left tackle.... Sorry i gave 2 scenarios sick, iam getting nervous for the game brother.....
no offense brother, but for me personally, i would not wanna set the tone for our players with a flea flicker. Dont like the message or philosophy...
any chance we could get a real prize? and IM thinking long distance to ginn attempt. Just to say, you know why we are doing this atlanta? BEcause we can.
We'll shock everyone by running the Power Sweep out of the Wildcat right off the bat with Brown taking the snap. Ronnie nets 3 running right.
I don't believe in the "setting the tone for the season" thing. We started off 0-2 and look where we ended up. Against the Jets in week 17 did you think we had less of a chance because of the tone we set game one first play?
Two back set with fake to Ronnie up the middle and toss to Ricky outside right for 5 yards. I wonder if they have tried letting Haynos run the ball from the fullback position for short yardage, ala the Fridge.
I always think about this every year right before the opener. I always expect a play action bomb or a flea flicker, something exciting to start the season...and it's always a hand off for 2-3 yards or a quick pass. I do think it will be different this year. Maybe not a bomb, but something more down the field.
