Vols fans are very intense about football. I lived in Knoxville and it was always interesting with me wearing my Gators stuff all the time.
That's exactly right they were just looking for an excuse to cause mayhem. I would love to see the police positively ID as many of them as possible and make them do community service to offset the vandalism.
Well seeing things like what UT students did doesn't make me a proud graduate that is for sure but I knew from my time there that most everyone cared about sports more than academics. I don't think that is an unpopular trend especially at SEC schools. It may not be sports all the time it could be partying etc. I'm guessing most public school and even private school college students would rather be anywhere but class so its not just a Knoxville thing. Look no further than UF an infamous party school. It's hard for us but we'll try.
