I checked my bank of america account today and in my savings it says
"PLACE MEMO CREDIT" +26.35. I'm not complaining that i got free money, but i know nothing in life is free so i'm wondering what is that money? Will it get taken out? Why do I have it? Thanks

did you make a small desposit or have direct deposit? i noticed something with wachovia a while back. they sometimes list deposits as "audio credit." i figured out it was just a desposit of my own
every bank has there own terms and stuff. try googling the exact term and see what comes up -
Sounds like a correction to a previous charge.

Do you have any kind of cash back rewards program? I got one from both my BOA and AMEX accts as a credit on my accounts. I also have a Citibank driver's edge card that works similarly except it credits you in the form of a rebate when you purchase a new vehicle.
