That's what I just did too. For a week-night, two weeks out, the cheapest room I could get was $1700 a night. So that's $3400, plus up to a $400 food credit, bringing us to $3,800 total.

If I had the money to waste, it's a solid deal...and you get to play catch with Tua!

And you get an hour one on one to chat. I know they say don't meet your heros but Tua really seems like an all around chill guy. I'd love to just talk about his faith and life. Football would be the last thing I'd even want to talk about.

He should be running routes instead of playing Qb right now.

fat boy has not done **** so far to work on his physique, almost three months after his season ended.

So very disappointing that he’s that kind of guy.

Is he a receiver now? It's for charity dude. You might want to think about stop obsessing about another mans weight.

I thought we wanted Tua to bulk up again so he can bulldoze defenders? I can't keep up anymore.

Has nothing to do with the charity aspect, good for him..I’m talking about our 50 million dollar qbs weight not just another man

    he’s undisciplined and lazy.

And I’ll keep talking about it until he changes it

I haven't really looked into his weight or physique since the season ended. Last I saw Tua was at Metlife looking like Stevie Wonder in a snuggle. Is he really that out of shape and where did you see this terrible news?

There's a picture of him on a boat with his family this off-season with his shirt off and drinking a beer. God forbid!

He is not chiseled like Adonis how djphinfan prefers his men. He looks like every other quarterback in the league without their shirt on. I suppose he's supposed to be exclusively working out and studying game film right now while everyone else is on vacation.

If Tua was soft or didn't care about football he would have retired a long time ago.

yeah I wouldn't believe this take, he really doesn't care enough in the offseason to enhance his strength and conditioning and to reach his physical potential, thats the bottom line, and I dont care about other qbs i only care about our 50 million dollar guy and that guy is not putting in the work to be his best self physically.

That's harsh man. Just proves you don't need to be an Abercrombie & Fitch model to win Super Bowls. Sorry to upset you.

He has no idea what his work out routine is or what he's doing in the offseason .Just knee jerk reaction to some random photo and now he "knows" everything about what Tua is or isn't doing.

He gets hurt because he puts himself in danger to try and help his team, whether it is warranted or not. It's not because he doesn't have a six pack. His decision making once he gets past the line of scrimmage should be questioned over anything else.

Can anyone find one of these pictures of Tua on the boat and post it? The only one I could find was a joke. No way that was Tua.

He's still got the Stevie Wonder sunglasses on. That's how you know it's him.

You’re the one that threw out a ridiculous comp

you are defending an atheite who doesn’t go the extra mile to training his physical body, an athlete that takes up 20 percent of our cap and the supposed face of the franchise

why? Because you don’t believe it to be true ?

And you’re not even close to what I know about the player and what I’ve seen, nor are you educated on the topic being discussed, I am.

if you think my opinion is coming from a place just to hate that you haven’t a clue about more than I thought.

I’m giving an opinion based on years of evidence and testimonials, in person up close observations for weeks at a time, factual information and a field I was in for a long time.

So your continuance to devalue my opinion sounds like a beef you have or you just don’t like talking about it because it makes you uncomfortable .

disappointing you can’t have an honest conversation without sarcastic insults to fellow members.

Man, just imagine a near 300 lb D-lineman who runs a sub 5, 40 running full speed at that guy.
Cool Grier isn’t worried about the OL.
I’m sure the dude in that picture is. lol.

heres what really bothers me about this topic and folks who take offense to my opinion.

you folks do realize he reached about 245 in the last quarter of that season you like to brag about, you do realize his own teammates called him a fat ***..

you do realize he is as slow as hell as a qb.

and anyone with an unbiased opinion can see that he's not nearly in apex condition.

so let me get this strait, yall want him to gain weight and dont care that he's not in great shape, or you don't think its relevant for a 50 million dollar athlete to not be in great shape, because you think a slow footed heavy legged qb to begin with shouldn't worry to much about weight gain and BECOMING EVEN SLOWER. im sure any strength and conditioning specialist or prof would sign off on that considering his injury history.

Its an embarrassing conversation, I Cant believe I have to explain this about this particular athlete and his past and what we know.

Getting back to the thread topic, I clicked the link and "the lot is closed". It doesn't show a winning bid or a winner, so I'm guessing it was cancelled. There were 32 watchers but maybe only a few bidders? I can't find a bid history either.
