Stop egging each other on... I'm tired of coming into these forums and seeing a bunch of bickering. It's really getting to the point where it's like reading threads with feminists as the posters... If you guys are pissed at someone who dissed your team, latest trade, or whatever... just step back. Just because your posting here doesn't mean the TOS doesn't exist here... If a mod (like Boik) comes in here and sees that one of you guys are out of line... I'm not going to defend you... Just be smart about how you post... you guys can have fun, but just don't piss each other off. I think you guys know the limits and some know that you're really pushing them.

completely agree Griddles. I joined to have a good time with this and because I figured it was one forum that wouldnt take much policing since most of you have been around the site long enough to know how things work. Lets have some fun and stop the BS.

Thats actually incorrect considering the whole way we base who wins on voting done by the same GMs who make the judgement calls on your picks.
IMO..we need to reevaluate how this thing is graded or voted on. Honestly IMO we should try to get a couple of people each yr to grade how we do. We have enough "guru" types on the board who I am sure would love to give us their opinion on how we mess up teams. Dont take this is your not doin a great job Mat...you are....I app. you putting this together...but IMO alot of the heat from the trades and etc. is because we know the same people who dis your trades are the ones voting for or against you.
that's a valid point... i never liked the playoff idea (although I wasn't here when you guys used to do it over at the old site). If we can get unbiased, independent judges, I'd applaud that.
You guys have to realize that I have tried to get other people to judge them in the past, but most people have said no. I don't think many people find it appealing to judge 32 separate teams on their own time... There really isn't a perfect way to judge this unfortunately. What I am saying about the trade deal, is that one trade won't propel you to the top. You'll need to make a series of good trades, good free agency moves, and a solid draft to win. It's really that simple.
Think of a fool-proof way to vote then... unless you can get the NFL players to suit up and play... I doubt you'll find one.
after I'm done beating all of you this year, next year I will volunteer to be a judge and no longer GM.
Alright who wants to edit 32 teams in madden then Sim the season? Draft players would have to be excluded.
