Please verify my Spanish is correct

    I'm wanting to say "Teachers take care of their students. We take care of them in Spanish."

    Is this translation correct?

    Los profesores toman el cuidado de sus estudiantes. Tomamos el cuidado de ellos.

    I think cuidar (to take care of, be careful of, pay attention to) is probably the verb you want. I don't know whether it is reflexive or not.

    So instead:

    Los profesores cuidan sus estudiantes. Cuidamos de ellos.


    Or

    Los profesores tienen cuidado de sus estudiantes. Tenemos cuidado de ellos.
    (although I believe this one literally means be careful with)

    I'm not a native speaker though...

    Your first one was right, but it should be "cuidamos a ellos".
