Gee, but to me the best way to not to get banned from Po Fo would have been a PM to Celtkin asking for a chance to prove yourself on this site. I think if you would have followed this route you would have had less Press Coverage and a chance to stay.

Since Press decided to send out PMs before he left in an attempt to spread his version of the story, let me clear some points up.

I have never banned anyone from POFO for their politics. The fact that we have respectful posters on both sides of the debate should be a testament to that fact. What does get people banned is personal attacks anywhere in the forums but the temptation to be rude seems especially enticing in POFO - trust me, I have made that mistake too.

In Press' case, he was repeatedly banned for personal attacks. When I came on staff, I un-banned him and asked him to try to contribute with is intellect rather than clubbing people with insults. Granted, he didn't do it all the time but it was often enough that he was a constant distraction in POFO for the staff.

After a few more incidents, I banned him only to let him return after he sent me a PM asking to be reinstated. For a week or so, he did well but he finally showed us that he did not have the temperament be a forum member of POFO. It was then that I made POFO unavailable to him though he had access to the rest of the site.

Unfortunately Press went straight for the throat and attacked me. CNC66 saw it and reported the post then soft deleted (the post is still here but only staff can see it) until I could reply.

Needless to say, I read the reply and after wading through a series of bad recollections and insults, I left it up to the staff to decide his fate.

Never heard of anyone who actually requested to be banned from a sub-forum before. Even if it is the POFO. :lol:

As for adsense, I remember seeing ads for electric griddles, astronauts, and law enforcement, I wonder where those came from...

Even if it isn't, it must be a really low number which is impressive as heck. The mods and admins have done a great job of being patient with people and working with them instead of just banning them.

I'm guessing Club Level? If you go to User CP and then "Miscellanous", it will say "Paid Subscriptions." It should say there the end date of your club level.

I agree Celtkin....don't think anyone here has even .1% lack of faith in you. hasn't the huge volume of "followers" attested to this?
