I fail to see how they are connected, although I am sure lawyers and Clemens' supporters will hang their hat on this and say it proves he has a history of lieing and all that stuff. The problem is, I think Clemens has made his bed. At this point, I think its hard to convince anyone that doesn't want to be convinced that he is innocent in this. If Roger had come out right away instead of waiting until lawyers told him how to react, or if he simply shut his mouth from the beginning, no one would care.
