Yeah,I agree with this decision Porter needs a chance to rest and heal his injury. I expect we will see more Wake on passing plays and Roth on running plays tomorrow.

I like Wake.

1) Wake is great off the edge

2) But Wake is far better with his hand on the ground ads a DE, meaning he cannot take over all of Porter's WOLB duties. We will see a bit more of Wake on 3rd and long though.

3) Wake can get caught up inside on runs, or screens. Look for some stuff to be run wide or misdirection to Wake's side on 3rd and 8's if he starts as our 3rd down DE.

 

First ginn ,now porter, way to show this guys if you dont play the next player will take your spot.

1. Sparano gets pissed at the team and bans Dominoes
2. Porter gets deactivated 2 days later

What if Porter got deactivated for starting a Dominoes game

Spoke to Sparano and Ireland earlier this evening. Asked each of them straight up about the situation.

Neither of them would elaborate. Sparano said these things are kept strictly in house. But it is NOT due to injury. "Coach's decision" is all they'll say.

 

Believe me were not missing Ginn at WR one bit,We just dont have anyone to throw to that would be a threat.

the fact that Roth is now in his 3d game, JT can slide back over to WOLB (where he is better off) ... allows them to give JP a week or 2 off. it also allows them to get Wake more snaps, either for Roth (most likely) or JT on passing downs.
