Not sure but I love him this year. He's worked on his speed, pass pro, and catching so he could easily duplicate or improve upon last year's numbers considering Shanahan likes his backs to contribute in the passing game which Morris couldn't do last year. IMO he's solid late 1st round value that could perform like a top 5 back. I took him over Arian Foster & Trent Richardson in my 2nd league.

I wouldn't do it. Titans oline looks great in the runblocking game with the additions of Levitre & Warmack. CJ could easily perform like a 1st round back behind them.

As for Morris I dont get why hes sliding to pick 10-15 so frequently. Hes going to be ok running as shanahan has shown virtually any 1 cut runner cqn have success in his offense. Even mike anderson and other plodders had 1100 or 1200 yards for him. Im a believer. If morris has the slightest bit of talent he will be fine and improve catching passes.

Shanahan's history of a platoon backfield now that the very versatile Helu is back. Not to mention I don't think you see nearly as much read option with RG3 this year. That was HUGE as far as opening up lanes for Morris.

I honestly think he will be a borderline top 10 RB.

That'd be a solid move for both sides. Gore will always get the goal line work and hes still elite imo, and vernon could beast out and be kaps go to guy. Gore right now is my flex, lol. I put a premium on backs this year and raped the draft, and will reap the benefits.

A Broncos fan in an IDP league offered me Victor Cruz, Ryan Broyles & Darrelle Revis for Demaryius Thomas. Yay or Nay?

Shanahan NEVER platooned in denver. Helu is a mediocre talent an injury prone back so even if does start as a time share it likely wont remain that way for long. I dont see that happening at all personally. If I had a 10th pick or something id have zero problem taking Morris. RG3 wont be running as much, someone will have to catch a few extra passes or take some extra handoffs. Maybe Morris will be a top 10 back, may be not but at that point in the draft Im looking for a player who is a relatively sure thing with low bust potential, productive, and no real history of injury. Morris checks those points.

Id probably take that considering I actually like Cruz more then Thomas this year.

Save T. Davis, Shannahan has notoriously platooned RBs in Denver. And while playing the Eagles twice a year is a huge advantage....I think he's borderline top 10 at best.

And I must ask why you prefer Cruz over Thomas?? A guess a case can be made in a ppr, other than that though?? Meh

Cruz vs Thomas...Thomas has a team where he should be playing from in front every week. Especially in a ppr hes going to be lower volume with welker and decker around. And hes got to share the ball with those studs while hes the one who will see double coverage.

Meanwhile the Giants have 2 things working for Cruz. One is that Nicks is back which will relieve some double coverage from Cruz. The second is that the NYG are an inconsistant team. I like them but from drive to drive they sometimes keep teams in games which means they play close games and that means more targets for cruz who is already a high target guy.

I like the way he's running this year. He's learning to get north and pick up positive yardage rather than forcing it outside, and doing so behind his new oline should provide some nice cut back lanes to exploit. I think Stringer was smart to pull the trigger early in round 2 in our league.

Yeah, I was thinking of going with the trade for that reason. Broncos may score more, but Peyton will likely have more targets as well. Just worried about his foot injury.

I don't do many trades, if he's giving me 3 players just for one, does that mean I'd have to get rid of two players off my bench to make room?

Yep you dump 2. 1 should be a CB since youre getting a better cb (pretty much regardless of whatever cb you have revis is better and teams will probably try and test him early)..

My draft is on Sunday and I'm sitting at 9. I'm going RB and I'm thinkin' the choice is gonna be between Richardson, Morris, and Jamal Charles (yes the kids in my league don't like him too much). If JC does fall to me I'm gonna grab him but if not who would you take Richardson or Morris? I see some are high on morris here but I think Richardson is gonna' have a big season. Then coming back I think I'm going to go receiver over RB unless say Forte is there, or maybe even Johnson? What do you guys think?

If LeSean McCoy is there at 9, take him. Talent + Volume + Scheme = LeSean McCoy as Fantasy's #1 player. I'm drafting him in all my leagues if he's there..

Here are my two teams. ESPN, standard scoring, auction draft.
    Team 1.

    QB. Michael Vick
    RB. Doug Martin
    RB. Ray Rice
    WR. Danny Amendola
    WR. Marques Colston
    TE. Rob Gronkowski
    Flex: LeSean McCoy
    DEF. Chicago
    K: Janikowski

    Bench
    Josh Gordon
    Malcom Floyd
    Jay Cutler
    Bryce Brown
    LeVeon Bell
    Brandon Pettigrew
    Vincent Brown

Went all in on the RB positions early. It didn't leave me with much money. I got Colston and Amendola pretty cheap. Had to "settle" for Mike Vick as QB. I like his ceiling though, especially with Chip Kelly. Got Gronk at a decent enough price. If he gives me 12 games, I'll be happy. Bench is very weak. Didn't have money to spend on the sleeper picks I wanted like Chris Givens, Daryl Richardson, Kenbrell Tompkins, etc... Still, I love my backs. All three were my favorites (after AP of course). And I'll be active with FA/Waivers if anyone emerges.

    Team 2.

    QB. CKap
    RB. Steven Ridley
    RB. Demarco Murray
    WR. Dez Bryant
    WR. AJ Green
    TE. Jimmy Graham
    Flex: Reggie Bush
    Defense: Chicago
    K: Blair Walsh

    Bench
    Rob Gronkowski
    James Jones
    Lamar Miller
    Tony Romo
    Leveon Bell
    Kenbrell Tompkins
    Marcel Reece

For this draft, I went with a strategy of buying low on RB's. Not my usual style, but I already drafted/bought RB's heavy on team 1 and wanted a different dynamic than my first team. I feel I have good enough depth with Lamar Miller and eventually Leveon Bell when he returns to make up for it. I can't ****ing believe I have Gronk AND Graham. Gronk and Graham were both selected for auction later than usual. In mock drafts, Graham was going for $24-30 bucks. Gronk was going for $14-$22 bucks. I got Graham for $22 and Gronk for $9. I'm not sure how I'm going to manage these two TE's. Obviously I'm starting Gronk when he gets back. May be willing to trade Jimmy Graham and one off Murray/Bush/Miller for an upgrade at the RB position if I need it. Or I might just keep him on the bench and horde valuable TE fantasy points.

Romo is a legit starter too. Got him for $7 in case Ckap comes down to earth. Given that my RB's are somewhat suspect for different reasons, I wanted a QB who could steal some rushing TD's. Cam was nominated early and went for a hefty chunk and I wasn't willing to overspend. So I grabbed Ckap for a discounted price.

I really love the overall makeup of this team. My WR's/TE's are the best of the best. My starting running backs are high ceiling guys with some question marks (Murray and Bush). Although I feel like Miller and eventually Bell make up for any injury concerns. When DMC gets hurt, I also like Reece to step in and do just fine.

Not bad...TE is weak. One name: Jordan Cameron. Gresham is not a starting caliber TE in fantasy, especially not in a 10 team league. Get Cameron or see if Jermichael Finley is available. I have him as a top 5 TE this year, possibly better.

Clearly our RBs are a mess, like they are every year in this league. Passing TDs are worth 6 and we use tiered scoring for passing yardage so Drew Brees is a beast in this scoring system. We won the league on his arm last year. But we have to spend a first to keep him every year, so after making the luxury pick of Jimmy Graham with our 2nd round pick, there were absolutely no RBs to be had, and not much WR value either putting me in the awful position on reaching for Ryan Matthews in the 4th. Had I known that neither Eddie Lacy, Frank Gore or Lamar Miller would be there at our 3rd and 4th round picks we probably would have taken Forte (best RB available when we picked Graham). Last year our RBs were just as bad but we had much better WRs. This year will be tough and we will be counting on an Arian Foster injury to save our RBs. Or maybe Sudfeld can produce early and we can trade him or Graham. Brees will keep us competitive even with the dreadful rushing attack.

So, we get to the 13th pick and the wifi connection is lost and the computer picked my first 2!!! I was so pissed, wanted chris Johnson and Brandon marshall. I end up with 2 WRs. I ended up with this, I still think I can win it.

Standard 12 Team Non PPR, 9th overall Pick

    QB: Cam Newton (4)
    WR: Dwayne Bowe (3)
    WR: Steve Smith (5)
    WR: Cecil Shorts (6)
    RB: Trent Richardson (1)
    RB: Matt Forte (2)

Bench: Anquan Boldin (7) Josh Gordon (8) Andy Dalton (9) Emmanuel Sanders (11) Jordan Cameron (12) Ronnie Hillman (13)

What do you guys think? I think its pretty solid except I am not a big Cecil Shorts fan but he was the best WR available when I picked. Didn't plan on taking a QB that early but I couldn't pass up on Cam for that value. I was real surprised Forte actually got to me because I planned on taking Dez.

I'm Up and Down about this team.. I love my RB's if this was a PPR League I wouldn't even have to watch my team.

    Non-PPR Autodrafted 8th overall:

    QB: Joe Flacco (14th)
    RB: Jamaal Charles (1st)
    RB: LeSean McCoy (2nd)
    WR: Demaryius Thomas (3rd)
    WR: Reggie Wayne (6th)
    Flex: MJD (4th)
    TE: Jordan Cameron (13th)
    DST: Ravens (16th)
    K: Bullock (15th)

    BN: Lamar Miller (5th)
    BN: Hakeem Nicks (7th)
    BN: Chris Ivory (8th)
    BN: Greg Jennings (9th)
    BN: BenJarvus Green-Ellis (10th)
    BN: Mark Ingram (11th)
    BN: Josh Gordon (12th)

One team has Rodgers Stafford and Wilson so I might try to package a deal with them.. I think they might have autodrafted also since for some reason they have Pitta, Harvin, and Denario Alexander on their team.. either that or they have no idea what IR means..

Your RB's are real solid, and Ronnie Hillman is (currently) the #1 back on the Bronco's depth chart so as long as he keeps his fumbles in check he'll be a great 3rd RB/Bye-week fill in.
I'm really high on Bowe this year but I don't think Steve Smith or Shorts will have a productive season. I think once Gordon comes off suspension you'll have him starting over Shorts.

Your team is basically stacked all around, and I believe Flacco can get it done plus it offers good value because your bench is looking real nice as well. I'm guessing this was a 10 team league, Mccoy in the 2nd is ridiculous.

Ronnie Hillman and Kembrell Thompkins are both on the waiver wire so I plan on picking them up dropping Jennings and Ingram. Flacco can be a average starting QB but he is so inconsistant... Looking at stats from last year he'll get you 20-25 points one week then 6-9 points the next week. I also want to try to find another decent TE just incase Cameron doesn't break out this year.

Gore for Mccoy should be a no brainer as long as you are getting mccoy. Miller is the name to watch once hes ready. Fred Davis could be an immediate grab and probably should be.

Probably a bit much depending on how you view Nicks. If you think hes an injury headache and dont want to deal with him it makes sense. If you think hes an 1200 yard/10 td guy like I tend to believe then you understand my opinion. Im not a believer in Britt so that also matters.

Flacco will prevent you from winning a championship imo. Im not sold he can be a good QB for fantasy purposes especially without Pitta and Boldin
