From PFT:
When Dolphins center Mike Pouncey dropped out of the Pro Bowl, he cited recent surgery as the reason why he would miss the game without giving any details about what kind of surgery he had.
Pouncey has now revealed the operation that kept him from playing in the postseason All-Star game. Pouncey battled a foot injury during the 2015 season that caused him to miss the final two games of the season, but said Monday that he had hip surgery.
It’s not the first time that Pouncey has needed an operation to fix a hip injury. He missed the start of the 2014 season after having another surgery. Pouncey said, via Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, this surgery involved shaving down the bone and took place on the opposite hip from the previous surgery. He added that expects to be ready to go for organized team activities later this offseason.

Its good that he's going to hopefully be ready, but this seems to be an every year issue now since he was injured in 2014.
I wonder if it will shorten his career?

It's good he got it out of the way. Now he can focus on training camp.

So Pouncey had hip surgery again, {shaving down of the bone}, # Nick Martin...# Ryan Kelly...# Ryan Glascow..
one of these dudes needs to be a Dolphin next year...all three are centers, al three can play guard, and all three are nfl caliber lineman..
Another reason why a trade down looks like the right move for us...
Kelly you would have to take with our 2nd, he won't last..
Glascow imo is going under the radar..
