Tab Perry is still on the "roster". On an inactive list? I thought we cut him after he got hurt... interesting... Now im confused
Perry was waived/injured which means that once he cleared waivers he was placed on our IR list. That's the usual process with waiving injured players - can't just cut them, they have to go on someone's IR.
So, really then he's not our "property" anymore. He just shows up on our IR because we cut him? and he's not really under contract right?
Well, as far as I know (we're moving well into the depths of the CBA here) he's still officially a Miami Dolphins and we have to honor his contract while he's on our IR list.
