The Dolphins have changed the practice routes they throw in practice, going deep regularly. This is new.less than 20 se

He does have a strong arm and it may give Ginn the confidence and incentive to improve his own play. It would be super to have the Henne to Ginn connection a regular thing. His ability to zip the ball could help the other receivers too.

God, I'm pumped for this game!!!!!!!!!GISH and Rocky Raccoon like this. -
i also like the optimism, not only was it a season saving deal, but it was the begining of, at least what some would say, a dynasty. Perhaps that what we will enjoy here in Miami.

Before everybody gets too excited, I would expect Buffalo to play a ton of shell coverage which should prevent the deep throws. It should provide some opportunities on deeper drags though.
And BTW I doubt that we're actually running more deep patterns. My guess is that Henne is just throwing to the deeper patterns compared to CP who checked down quicker. I really don't think this is primarily arm strength based, but rather decision making based. CP has enough arm strength but he seemed to get in the habit of not letting the plays develop when he had his injuries. Since then his arm strength returned to about the level he had before or about Bulger's level but he kept playing it too safe.mullingan likes this. -

See Ryan Leaf's shocking omission from the football hall of fame.
The problem is 90% of the talk around Henne on this board has to do with arm strength and not the above attributes/qualities.
Didn't even Marino say arm strength was overrated and accuracy was more important?
EDIT: I apologize in advance for pissing off 90% of the board. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! -
