my niece who is only 3 yrs old has leukemia. she will start having chemotherapy today and will stay in the hospital for 10 days. Please keep her in your thoughts thank you

Thanks I'm lucky that my brother lives in the same town as i do, so i will be spending alot of time in the hospital with him and his wife. i'm going to buy the biggest stuff animal for her that i can find
Shoot Anthony - I had a huge stuffed Dolphin that I had to get rid of last month, cause it was so big. I mean it was 6' long, at least. Wish I had known. Oh well, at least you get to spend time with her in the hospital. That's wonderful!
My niece had a spinal tap earlier and her fluid was clear. First round of chemo starts in an hour. thanks for the prayers... i will be seeing her after work today

Thanks for all your support and concerns. It was a rough weekend in the hospital, to see a 3yr old laying in bed with all kinds of tubes and IV in her arm. I took Unluckyluciano adivice i gave her a small doll to hold she love's it (thanks) she has another round of chemo today and another spinal tap at the end of the week. Thanks again for the prayers...

My prayers are also with you ATVZ... IT breaks my heart when I hear of children that are dealt such a blow in their young life... What is good to hear is that she has family and people around her that love her very much... The "Power of Prayer," is a great dose of medication...
update Ava had her 4th round of chemo last Friday. Things are going well and the meds are working. Her hair is starting to thin out, and she is very tired from time to time. i would like thank everyone from this site for there support, prayers, and generocity it's something i will never forget. this board has a lot of special people on it thank you
