I am sitting vigil in a hospice room with my wife's sister in law. Probably will be over within 72 hours. Prayers would be appreciated.
Her name is Ina. She is a member of a small Methodist congregation served by a brand new licensed local pastor who is still in training. He will be gone next week so I have offered to step in and do the service since the family would prefer it to be led by someone who knows her and them. For that I request prayers as well.

 

We lost Ina yesterday morning. The funeral is Thursday. Thanks for your prayers.

 

The funeral went as well as these things do. Family gathered, tears were shed, smiles were shared over poignant or funny memories. My wife's daughter is up and visiting so she is a happy lady.
