My Wifes father had a heart attack lastnight and he is in critical condition. He was to our house all day yesterday for fathers day and Ashly's babtism. From what I have been told he started to develop chest pain while at our house sometime after lunch and never said a word.:no::angry: My wife was told if he had been 20 min. later he may not have made it. This was @ Midnight when they took him by ambulance.
So any and all prayers will be greatly apprciated.
One more thing. Guys and Gals get to know the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not wait to call 911, don't get your wife to drive you or drive your self!! Call 911, early intervention can and does save lives. I beg you guys.

I'm so very sorry. I will keep him in my prayers. My father chose to drive himself to the hospital when he had his first heart attack. Thankfully, he survived, but later succumbed to Alzheimer's. Also, I will mention that it's been a year since my heart attack, thank goodness I'm still here. I think this is a great message to spread - girls of the board - take notice please. Women's heart attack symptoms can be very different from mens. I had a nagging pain in my back that I thought was just a pulled muscle. Turned out to be very different.

Update
He will be coming home in a day or so, they took him out of ICU today. They found a 2nd clot and treated it with medications, so it looks like that worked.

also would like to add that sometimes it can be a panic attack as well. a lot of the symptoms are similar.
definitely get it checked out though. -
