Looks like the financial maneuvering has begun: https://www.thephinsider.com/2023/3...bb-restructures-contract-2023-nfl-free-agency
There's around 33 free agent QBs, including Tom Brady. I'd be shocked if we don't bring in a vet QB. Other than that, I'd focus on the line and linebacker. Would consider CB if there's some value there as well, but we have a few young guys that I think could be starting caliber. Haven't had my coffee yet so the names aren't coming to me, LOL.
Here’s a bit of a surprise - Rams shopping Stafford? https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...rade-matthew-stafford-calling-teams-about-qb/
I’m expecting a backup QB to be signed right away. Last year Grier signed Teddy B real quick. 2 years ago he signed Brissett on the 1st day of Free Agency. The more I look at the list… Give me Sam Darnold. He probably has the highest untapped upside of all of them. Definitely more than Minshew or Heinicke. And I don’t want Dalton or Wentz (who we are being linked too)
As has already been said, linebackers, OT and cornerback. Between free agency and the draft we can plug the major holes on this team.
