In one sense the NFL league is simple - aim to win every game.

On the other hand, we love to analyse and so, to that end, a short and sweet analysis:

We need to beat the Bills, sweep them preferably. We should approach them with a serious target on their backs.

    1 - They're a divisional opponent - no brainer.
2 - They're the number two divisional opponent - they can beat us and have beaten us, even as recently as last season.
3 - Depending upon the outcome of the Deflategate hearings they're going to be the only divisional team to play against a Brady-less Patriots (and a ticked off, hungry Tom Brady will be around after that).
4 - Their greatest strength - the DL - pressures our greatest weakness - the OL. Last year there was talk about them being built to beat the Dolphins. Looks like they've only improved this year.
5 - Their QB situation isn't looking as bad as it did a little while ago. Hopefully it'll all collapse, but if it doesn't it would be better to stomp all over the young QB rather than let him, and Ryan, grow in confidence.

Bottom-line, sweeping the Bills will make our lives a lot more comfortable on the road to the play-offs.

if we sweep the bills it's guaranteed afc east and playoffs imo. I think we split with them unless we come out hotter than we expect. At the very least i'm easily more afraid of them than NE

Agreed. They worry me more than the Pats do. They just match up against us very well.

IMO they were thinking of us when they selected Taylor to be their QB.As tough as we have been up the middle we have been succeptible to double reverses and running QBs .Hopefully we can find an answer for that with our wide ranging LBs .Its too bad Mc Clain is not one of them as I had hoped.

    Slightly left of center
One way or the other 4-2 in division is the key to success every year. You have to win your home games and steal one somewhere, hopefully against the patsies lately but agree that the jills could be harder to put out.

The Bills will be a tough team to beat this year, I know many of you have said that you picked TT to beat out EJ, but did you think that he would beat him out with EJ playing as well as he has...

They may be better than OK at QB, with a scary run game, and a scarier defense, they could be VERY good.
