Not that it was anything to write home to begin with, but WTF is the NFL doing? First off, two of the rule changes for this year:
» Game within the Game: A two-minute warning will be added to the first and third quarters and the ball will change hands after each quarter. This will increase the opportunities for quarterbacks to direct "two-minute drills," which are especially exciting for fans.
» No Kickoffs: The coin toss will determine which team is awarded possession first. The ball will be placed on the 25-yard line at the start of each quarter and after scoring plays.

Honestly, when is the last PRO BOWL you tuned in for and watched...I cant think of a single one live (have seen clips on highlights shows post game, etc) in the past 2 decades (outside of me being fortunate to attend one in person ~ Thanks to ThePhins pickem contest a few years back" when played at JRS - bucket list).
This approach wont make me tune in....the NFL's version is/has been the saddest excuse for a ALL-STAR event in all of professional sports. heck you have teams being chosen school yard style too this year.
They took a crap product and made it crappier.... -
Maybe hockey needs to eliminate faceoffs too. ****, just flip a coin and give the team the puck at the blue line.

If they went in to the Godfather and changed scenes etc. that would be a problem (like Lucas did) but making a remake is not the personal affront to all things decent you'd act like it was. With the Pro Bowl, no one gives two sh**s, 4 f****, or 7 hells about the game or the uniforms, so whoopie do about the changes.
Change, Pagan, its not always good but sometimes its ok. For example, let's talk about a hair cut........ -
I get it, its the probowl, but this **** is ridiculous. Just end the whole thing, instead of changing it into a shell of the game itself.

Exactly. No one cares. Every watch the NHL all star game? The things leading up to it? Maybe the NFL should take some notes as to how to do it right, and not try just making the uniforms look like a Las Vegas casino. Maybe if they made some GOOD changes, people would WATCH the ****ing thing! I'm all FOR change, for the better.
