A big name in the NFL was announced to be released today in Dez Bryant. And there wasn't one single "DEZ BRYANT RELEASED - SHOULD WE SIGN HIM?!?!" thread. I thought it would be flooded with these posts when I logged on tonight.
Bravo, ThePhins.

I totally get where you're coming from. But still, we have so many WRs on the team already, that its going to be hard to get all of them targets. Assuming that Grant ends up as the #5 WR, there's going to be a HUGE debate this summer about who ends up being #4 and getting less time on the field.
I suppose even the dimmest among us realize that bringing in 29 year old Dez Bryant, at a salary we'd be unable to fit under the cap, would be crazy. He hasn't even been a good player since 2014 to boot.
Fun Bonus fact: DeVante Parker has had a much higher catch percentage that Bryant all three years that he's been in the league. Bryant's percentage last season was far below anyone on the Dolphins who caught more than two passes, and that was with all of the trouble that we had. -

It's now coming out from several players about how it's not a fun time at all playing in New England and everyone is getting over the whole "Patriot way" nonsense. -
That said, it's probably an outside shot, there are other teams with bigger need. -

At this point he's not much more than a big body red zone threat and not worth more that 5-6 mil if that.
