Either way, Ted Ginn is much improved over last season, he is torching the Jags at the moment, and they wouldn't punt to him and we got the ball on the 43 because of him.

 

I thought Henne overthrew it. But Ginn caught up to it in a flash.

Ginn is showing promise, and he still has lots of room for growth. He could have helped himself on that route but man, can he run under things...

 

Yeah, I've got to say, he's looking good so far. I'm getting pretty excited about Pennington to Ginn during the season.

 

There are still some major kinks. Too many penalties, taking a TO after the 2:00 warning. A bobbled Ginn catch on what would've been a big play.

So many positives, but if we can clean up those little things, watch out!

 

Keep in mind....this is against the Jags 1st team defense....

One other thing I'll say about Ginn is that I hope he takes a page from Marvin Harrison's book. Meaning he's so light that I hope he'll realize that it's self preservation to get out of bounds sometimes.

 

Pass protection has been great. Lead Fasano and that's a 1st down and Out of Bounds.
