Man, I know there's been a lot of slop, but did anybody expect us to dominate this first half?

 

Has beck played?? if so how did he look

 

Someone else mentioned earlier they couldn't remember the last time we had a 10 - 0 lead.....I can't remember the last time we had a 13 - 0 lead heading into half time.

Jack Del Rio is an idiot!!! He is the Dave Wannstedt of Jacksonville. They remind me of the Wanny era in every way imaginable.

 

Your memory is to short Rick, the same gushing happened last season for John Beck, he made a throw against KC that FinFans were raving about.

What a way to end the first half. Good execution on the last two plays. Im very impressed with both chads. Our D needs a bit of work but really theyve done well with the shutout and all.

Offense is moving the ball!!! Amazing! Loving the QBs but the penalties need to go and the ST has to step it up.

So you don't think either McCown or Beck will be gone by the end of the offseason? What does this have to do with gushing?

 

Did Ronnie get hurt? I thought he was supposed to get more work this game and he has only had 3 touches. Just wondering what was up with that?

Us fans can get caught up sometimes, Beck was the flavor of TC last season, this year it is Henne,

IMO McCown will be gone, but I'd like to see Beck in the second half.

 

He's sitting on the side line with a icebag on his hand.

 

The Jags will never be legitimate contenders under Del Rio. Everything they do in the offseason makes no sense to me. They take ridiculous risks with their high draft picks. They never pursue any elite players, and then they wonder why they get blown out of the water in the playoffs every year. Del Rio is a very stubborn coach. The way he handled the Brunnell / Leftwich situation said ti all to me. He was so set on getting his guy on the field that he forced out a guy that had a couple good years left in the tank. Meanwhile, their best Qb was 3rd on the depth chart the whole time. Their methods will catch up with them, you can bank on that. And they'll have nothing to show for this entire decade of mediocre play.

 

Could have been, but Beck made a great throw and we gushed about it for a long time afterwards.

I'd like to see more of Beck in the preseason.

 

Jags did beat Pittsburg twice in PA. So I think they're doing something right. Before I criticize any other team, my Dolphins have to win in the playoffs.

The radia crew of mandich, rose and cefalo are excited as hell. for those of you that cant hear our guys.

Henne has been perfect, add another 100 yards to his stats and three completions.there are vapor trails on his throws, we found our future.

Iam so freakin excited right now.

so what? Miami beat plenty of good teams under Wanny. But that doesn't mean he wasn't leading our team off a cliff.

Our offense is fluid and strong. Our defense is getting better... we have to improve on both sides of the ball but I haven't felt this in couple years.. incredible.

Sparano shouldn't scream so much though, it's bad for his blood pressure a little discipline is good as long as he gives the guys credit where it's due.

only disappointment is special teams.....

hey guys!! holy crap!! I just got home from a daytrip to Niagara falls, logged on check the score, and i almost fell out of my chair when i saw the score 13-0 us at halftime! pennington and henne's numbers both look good, williams has nice numbers again, and Ginn too... man oh man!! what have i been missing!

 

horrible coverage that time. wasnt playing the ball.

 

Well, I'd have to agree. Pennington is better than Fiedler IMHO and Henne and Beck are both second round picks...before them, we hadn't spent a high round pick on a QB for years.

 

that pass was low and under thrown, with good coverage it should have been defended.

Not likely. Our defensive backups suck.

 

For me, what I learned from this game is:

Pennington is as advertised, he's pretty damn good for guy who was just cut by the Jets.

Ricky has not lost much of anything, the man is a freak of nature.

Ted Ginn can be a playmaker

Our Special Teams stink...still....
