I'm still surprised that we have not sent a Te deep down the middle of the field, that is something we have lacked for years now, we should take that shot one time...just one time....

Our offensive line is going to become very very good at some point this year.

Well to be honest the fact that they haven't been in the red zone has helped them raise Johnson's average.

    Colorado Dolfan ...dirty drownin' man?

Amen to that... KC's almost to the point where they're gonna have to stop running...

If this were a "real" game, that is...

That's what we did on the TD that was waved off by the refs. It was a deep throw down the middle (25 yard pass or so).

We all learned that pretty well from Saban's second season.

Yep! I made that comment when he caught it. We have not seen that TE deep over the middle in a long long time.

I'm liking the fact that KC seems to be starting every drive inside the 20.

I mean deeeep down the middle..from our 35 yd line or so, let's see if one of our Te's can split the Safeties seam.

I won't go that far but it is plain as day what a good Qb can do as far as improving fast goes.

I do like your optimism though

Really? I wouldn't say that we have holes. We're just limited...

If I review the entire starting roster I can't see a guy that's a major hole, just a few guys who are solid but not very good. Few game breakers, top players...

Who starts at Qb in the second half, Beck? Henne?

Jason Allen on Special Teams seems odd, are we missing something, or is the Staff shaking things up?

Most teams rarely throw deep to their receivers, much less to their tight ends. You may have to wait a long long time to see a bomb to a tight end. That's more of a Madden play than a real NFL play.

At this point I think he's fighting for a roster spot. I would be making some moves to if I knew that nothing was being given.

9 new starters on offense, 7 on defense, it takes time Jaj, to gel a unit, we have shaken up all three units, we don't know what their limitations are yet.

    Picked off...sweeeeeettt....

I've never played Madden in my life hugo, David Martin is a fmr Wr who blocks poorly, if he is to make the team, he would be the guy to make that play.

They look fairly cohesive. None of them are scrubs. They're just not overwhelming in any aspect.

The depth outside of maybe three spots is pretty blughhhh though...

While I want to think playoffs already, I'm tempering my expectations by knowing that we're playing a team that was 4-12 last season.

We should EXPECT to beat these guys.

    Regardless...Go Phins!

Not saying that you have played. My point is that seeing a tight end go deep down the middle (beyond 25-30 yards) and splitting the safeties is extremely rare.

Hell, it's even rare in Madden.
