I signed up, took the Chargers,and lost to the Raiders first game. My bad, in field goal range to tie the game and I force a third pick of the night. I'll get better, I hope.
I'm assuming some people have scheduled games against the computer? The first game on my schedule is against SICK...
Yeah, I play mostly CPU, unless, I guess, someone wants to agree to schedule shoing up and taking control of my opponent. Once in awhile I;d be willing to play as the other person's opponent if they felt like having a person v person game instead of a vs. cpu game. Although, I guess the onbline franchise probably wouldn;t let me do that so I guess it's not possible. We need a few more people to sign up! lol.
yes i posted news......on the franchise to have week one played by tuesday 9/15.....i will then advance a week on weds morning sometime. if you are scheduled against a cpu.....you can play your game, get a feel for your team, make some roster moves (depth chart) offer trades etc..... if you are scheduled vs a human (ie me vs unified) me and him need to set up a time thats good for both of us so we can play our game and move to week 2. the good thing is there are alot of nfc teams, so hopefully humans will play eachother a few times. if not, hopefully some of us are real good and get into the playoffs so we will meet there or in the superbowl!!!!! good luck everyone, this will be fun. if you have friends that you know will be able to play atleast once a week, have them join....give them the password....so we can get more human players.
FTR everyone......you can access our franchise from your cpu..... go to easportsworld.com click football.....then madden '10 online franchise. log in with your ea login account. you can then access your roster, depth chart, see league news, make trades etc for your team in the franchise. its pretty awesome
A good friend of mine intends to join us this week, and he has a close friend who wants in. Hopefully we will have tqwo more human players within a week or so. I warned him that late-joiners have to take CPU teams that MAY have alkready played a game and accept whatever their current record is. He is okay with that.
I'm tryuing to wait until we have aS MANY PPL AS POSSIBLE before I start. sorry about the caps. Also, I think if we play in synbc with the real season it'll be COOL to do our playoffs at the same time as the real ones. That means I have another week before I need to play my first game anyways.

So my friend joined and took the Falcons. His friend joined and took the Cardinals. A couple notes: 1) Would it be possib;e for the Commish (SICK) to put league announcements on the Madden Online Franchise news so the non-thephins players can read stuff? If we only post league news here, not everyone will get it. 2) As the season starts, we will each have to check when we are playing other humans on our schedule and find a way to set up a day/time to play them. For the non-thephins memebers, I'd suggest sending them a message through the league or through Playstation network as a 'friend' (you may wanna friend these ppl). 3) If need be, people can pass messages through me to RVMartinez who controls the Falcons franchise. Thanks a lot Sick and everyone for making this happen! I'm excited!!! I just wish I had another human in my own division!
Well.. played my 1st game right until 3 mins left in 4th quarter... and then something went wrong with the server connection and it told me the game wouldn;t count. Suckage. I think it's EA sports' server. Seems to go down around 4am EST all the time.

Everytime I've had time this week you have not been on and vice versa. It is 8:54 EST right now. I'll fire up the PS3 in 15 minutes and keep it on for a few hours. Having people over but they won't be here until about 9:00 (midnight your time).

GG Sick. I could not stop the run at ALL. I was playing with Sparano's playbooks because I know them, I won't be doing that again on defense. It's a 3-4 and the Eagles don't have 3-4 players, their linebackers are terrible (and they are really thin). It was my first game online and I was having a DREADFUL time kicking until the 2nd half. Missed a field goal (a shorty), shanked a punt and kicked a kick off out of bounds.
