I've heard rumors all over the place, from Sunday Ticket not returning this year to it returning at a lower price. Has anyone heard anything substantial? I thought it was pricey last year, but once they got the kinks worked out, it was an acceptable option for those of us not wanting Direct TV.
I haven't seen any announcements about it yet. If it doesn't come back I'm screwed because I dropped Directv this past spring.
So I've been following this for awhile trying to figure it out. Unfortunately, it seems like some people are being told yes, some no and some we're not sure. However these are the two most recent comments as of yesterday. And this Those last two are emails that a guy received from DTV.
That seems slightly cheaper than last year (which was $340, if I recall correctly). I guess a fan's gotta do what a fan's gotta do.

Did anybody use this last year? Do you have to stream the games live or can you watch them later if you miss game time?
I had it last year and got it again this year. My cousin in TX has directv and gets Sunday ticket and I just paid him the extra 100 dollars to add the "max" upgrade which includes streaming to the ps3, etc. That was an increase from $50 last year. What they did is offer Just the games for $199, then if you want to add stat tracking, redzone channel and streaming, it was an extra $100. Last year it was only live games since it was streaming, but you could possibly get a PVR or something to record it for you.
If it's live only I'm screwed. My daughter's stupid fall softball league has their games on Sundays...
i will check it out week 1 for you if you want. Maybe I can pause it on the computer like any live stream and come back to it. also, you can stream it to an android or iphone you know
Just get NFL rewind (or whatever they call it) off NFL.com. It is just replays and even for every team it's cheaper than this.
This might end up being an emergency option. It kind of sucks that you have to wait until the Sunday night game is over to access the replays. I get bored watching games when I already know the result. It sucks it's not something that I could come home around five on Sunday afternoon (for the early games) and stream.
