My PSN is greg1184. I have Uncharted, Motorstorm, and Call of Duty 4 so far. Anyone want to party up for the latter let me know.
Yes now that they have good games out for it and you won't have to worry about it dying every 6 months. MSG4 and GTA4 both come out in the next few months and Uncharted: Drakes Fortune is the best game out right now.
As soon as I get mine setup with my wireless network I'll post. Its being stubborn. Absolutely, I haven't stopped playing mine since I got it. There are some really good games out for it now, and plenty more due out this year.
Guess who's back? Good to see a winner's circle forming up in here. Was sick of all that 360 overhype based off pure price before I stopped visiting FH.com so much. Anyway my info: PSN: AquaInferno COD 4, Def Jam Icon, Madden 08, Smackdown Vs Raw 2008, Resistance Fall Of Man are all the online games I own.
Yeah, I know all about having problems getting the PS3 set-up with my wireless network (by the way if you are still having problems maybe I can help). I also have to agree that I love my PS3, I debated between it and the 360 down to the last minute and am very happy with my choice (although I'll still get a 360 eventually). Overall the PS3 is very much worth the price.
unifiedtheory94 (some thief stole my name) COD4, Assassins Creed, Medal of Honor Airborne and NHL 08. I signed up but have not actually played online yet. I'm waiting until I get good at a game before I go online to get my *** kicked. PS3 rocks! My g/f bought it for me and I've been playing NHL 08 more pretty much a month solid. Once I got it hooked up right (HDMI and optical sound cable) it's brilliant. The Blu-Ray thing rocks. Great purchase, great bang for your buck.
PSN name: WadeSkywalker Games: Ratchet And Clank, Heavenly Sword, COD4, Madden 08, Rockband Feel free to add.. Just got the PS3 for Christmas for the kids..cough, yeah right, cough cough...
You are better off playing online to get better because the computer AI doesn't give you the kind of competition that real people do, that is how I got real good at Madden. I had always been good but playing online improved my game by a large margin. E: Completely different story for COD4 for me, I'm like a sitting duck and am usually dead before I know what is going on.lol
Actually I was just coming in here to post for help. I tried again last night and can't get it to connect. It sees my network, usually 80+% signal strength, I put my security code in but it just won;t connect. Says the session times out and couldn't find a IP address. Any ideas???
JCA111382 I really just play Call of Duty. Not thrilled on how PSN is set up though. Hopefully Home improves it.
After I plug what in? I have unplugged the modem, router, and wireless module and plugged them all back in and I'm still getting The connection to the access point timed out. I'm stumped, don't know what else to do.
Finally added a gaming. PSN: Lou-igi Games: Warhawk, Resistance, MLB 2k7, Orange Box. I just bought Orange box and I'm thinking of taking it back. I've heard bad things and I don't want to open the game until I'm sure its worth it.
The Orange Box is well worth it. I haven't experienced but one problem (Half-Life 2 froze during one load screen but thats it). Just wanted too throw in my 2 cents there
I decided to return it. I don't think would have been my thing and TF2 seemed a little bare. Mostly all the things about framerate and lag scared me. I didn't want to spend 60 and have to trade it in for 25.
PSN ID: MikeH79 My games are: Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Resistance, MLB 07 The show, Oblivion, Guitar Hero 3, Assassin's Creed. And in response to the earlier post, yes a PS3 is well worth the money. Several great games available now and plenty more coming this year. And Warner just announced they were going Blu-ray exclusive which pretty much drove a stake in the heart of HD-DVD. I play it all the time and when I'm not playing it I'm using it for movies. Even DVDs look great playing in it.
PSN Name: Motion15 Don't have a headset yet though. Finally got everything working, just had to completely reboot my wireless router and everything connected right up. I was playing some WarHawk last night online. I wish there was some kind of online play for Assassin's Creed.
