The Dolphins are the ONLY team in the AFC not to score at least 30 points in a game this season. Most teams have scored 30+ points at least twice, some have done it 3 or 4 times. Only the Steelers, Bengals, and Broncos have scored 30+ points once this year. The Steelers have the #1 defense in points allowed, and both the Bengals & Broncos have just two wins. This doesn't include the game between the Steelers and Bengals tonight which hasn't happened at the time of this post. The Dolphins have not scored 30+ points in the last 17 games going back to last season on Nov 1st, 2009, and the last time we even reached 25 points was 16 games ago. Turnovers, bad field position, few rushing yards on 1st & 2nd down, stalled drives from goofy playcalls, stalled drives from bad throws and dropped passes, poor execution in the red zone. This team has to figure out how to score points, it can't be that impossible if even the winless pathetic Buffalo Bills are moving the ball and putting points on the board in some of their games. The Tennessee Titans, our next opponent, are #1 in the NFL in scoring points this season. Only once have they scored less than 20 points (against Steelers) and only twice in 8 games have they scored less than 25 points. They don't tend to commit many turnovers and their defense causes a lot of havoc. The Dolphins need to do something very different next Sunday to light up the scoreboard, make plays on defense, and get a win for those of us who have not given up on the season. One more statistic... in each of the Dolphins 4 wins, they have run for over 120 yards in each game, averaging 134 ypg. In the 4 Dolphin losses, they have not rushed for over 100 yards in any of those games, averaging 78 ypg. Let's find the end zone Dolphins!
Gut check time, let's see what the 2010 Dolphins are made of, and keep in mind the Titans have a BEAST kick returner.
This team was meant for grindin' and that's just what they'll do One of these days this team is gonna dry hump over you...(boom bapah boom bapah)
