Why does it always sound like a bunch of excuses when our coaches and players talk about tedd ginn. Iam facinated to know whether ginn's lack of production on the field is a direct result from the way that chad plays quarterback, i have a feeling it does. not that theres anything wrong with the way chad is playing but it is obvious that he lacks the strength to fire the ball into tight places and go deep, maybe these two just dont fit. It will be very interesting to see how this plays out. Imo Tedd is just a very instinctual player, while chad is obviously very cerebral,he expects you to be in the right place because of the way his arm works, ginn is probably a little rough on his routes, not always in the perfect place hence not getting the ball thrown to him. I think when henne was in there you saw him drop back and fire wherever tedd was.not thinking, which in turn helped ginn. By no means am i saying we should start henne just to help ginn, iam just saying that these two maybe have different styles of play, just trying to make some sense of this.
Well, would you rather hear "he sucks" or "I can't throw it that far"? It's funny, though, these interviews are like Meet the Press. The interviewee has to answer all the questions, while at the same time he has got to be respectful of the opponent, avoid criticizing anyone on his own team, be confident without sounding cocky and be humble without abasing himself. Lots of words, not too much meaning. Pennington's definitely better at it than the average athlete. He might have a future in politics.
