On where he feels his defense matches up best with the Saints offense) - "I think we match up good with them all around, I do. I would have to say you would hope their offensive line is a good offensive line, their skill people are good skill people and I think our secondary is a good secondary and I think our upfront people are pretty good. Should make for a good old fashion backyard fight."

PhinishLinesubscriberIts because he's not a primadona. He's really just an ole ball coach who wants to talk football. He doesn't really get into the lights and glam and really care to talk about all the dramatic parts about the NFL. He really gets off on offensive line questions and X's and O's. It would be like asking a regular joe about office politics. He really would rather talk about the hot blonde in accounting instead.

Q. What's the message to your players about this game?
TS: We want to do something a little different. Last year we were 2-4 after this game and we want to do something to change that. We don't want to go down that road again. We also want to try to take the Saints to a place where they haven't been. Over the past few years the Saints have lost eight out of 10 times when it came down to seven points or less. On the other side of the pancake, we've won nine of the 13 games that came down to seven points or less. So you have to try to take this Saints team to a place that they haven't been.
