On signing G Daryn Colledge) “Yeah, we’ve been tracking Daryn Colledge throughout unrestricted free agency. Obviously, with Coach (Joe) Philbin having drafted him back in Green Bay and working with him, he had a lot of knowledge on him. We felt, again, as we always do, we’re looking for good football players. We felt like he was the best available player out there for us that can help out offensive line. We have a lot of position-flexible guys that can fill different positions along the offensive line. We wanted to get the best player available.”
Our attendance this offseason is as good as I’ve ever seen in my 18 years. Almost 100 percent. That indicates that the players mindset is they’re about winning and they’re about doing what it takes, and paying the price, sacrificing what they need to sacrifice to have that winning effort. That’s what we’re all about here.”
(On QB Ryan Tannehill’s offseason and what he’s done to get better) – “Yes, obviously with Ryan, a new offense, what we’ve really seen is a lot of growth. You saw it on tape last year, growth from the previous year. (We) continue to see it through the offseason and that’s what our expectations are for him this offseason – continue to grow in this offense and grow as a player. Usually quarterbacks in the third year really take the next step and that’s what we’re expecting. Ryan’s spending a lot of time this offseason working on all aspects of his game. You really saw growth in there. We’re really excited about his 2014 season.”
