I'll tell you what, I let out a sigh of relief when Ingram came out a few picks later. Coples is a perfect bustable marriage for the Jests.

I'm betting he crumbles in the spotlight....Jets had their mini run and IMO things will get worse before they get better in NY.

    I know, I know....breaks my heart too.

I actually like Coples, but there's no way I see him succeeding with the Jets. He needs a coaching staff and teammates that are serious about winning. He won't be getting that in New York. A team full of douchebags who don't know the first thing about leadership. Won't work.

Here I'll play the role of Jets fan for you guys since they seem to be absent:

"Darrelle Revis is the best player ever and Rex Ryan said we were going to the super bowl and Rex wouldnt lie to us."

I hope I am wrong now, but I see Coples having a successful career. Hes not close to Gholston, thats for sure.

However, with that said, playing DE in the 3-4 defense is not going to help that motor run hot more often. Hes going to have to fight through double teams.

On the other hand, he looked a little better when he was inside at UNC. So he may enjoy it in there a little more, which gets his motor going. I like Coples, I really do. But I think he may be a little disapointment due to wrong team and wrong system.

Its a shame, but I think their draft has potential to be unreal good. It could be bust city too.

You guys want my honest opinion? I hate the pick. The last thing we need to a lazy overrated bum. Comparing him to Vernon Gholston is a mistake. If this guy wants to be great, he can be. It's whether he wants it or not. The problem with Gholston was not his work ethic nor his attitude, he just ****ing sucked when it came to playing football.

It's truly a boom or bust pick for the Jets. Rex has already hinted that Coples will start on the opposite side of Wilkerson.

    Coples - Pouha - Wilkerson.

Man, if he generates another "get Gholston a sack" thread he will be worth his weight in comedic gold.

    "The Gholston-a-pault"

"camouflage him as the 45 yd line, that way he'll be in position to get a sack"

    That was hi-llarious...:D

As for Coples,I suspect he simply lacks the athleticism to be elite, he'll probably be a good player like Sean Eillis imo
