I'm a little behind so this may have been discussed in another thread.

We are paying this guy a lot of money, could he be more useful at OG?

Hate to just cut him, but he isn't cutting it at RT.

I don't believe so..has no explosive movement in the lower body, poor muscular development all over..

Martin is what I thought he was.

Prolly worst duo in the league.

What a shame. How can something like this happen at this level?

We don't even have any injuries to deal with. Not to our starters or our backups. Everyone is healthy, and other teams decimated by injuries have better performing OL's than we do.

I saw this coming and ranted about it on another forum until they banned me, but I didn't expect to have a totally healthy OL that was ranked last in the NFL.

    This just sucks.

I doubt Clabo would be an effective guard either. I think Martin is average to below average but can improve moving forward. I think our line would be fine if he is our worst starting lineman however he is our third best (or worst) starting lineman. That's not a good situation to be in IMO.

I think Pittsburgh and maybe JAX fans would argue with that statement

Probably not, though Jerry could conceivably move back out to RT and find some success there.
I honestly didn't think Martin would put in the work over the offseason to get bigger/healthier, but he did. I'm not very high on him right now, but I think he could improve in the future. At least if we fixed the other side of the line we could give Martin some help.

I think Tyson's ideal position would be as far away from Dolphins starting RT as possible.

I really don't give much credit putting in the offseason work, it's what he desperately needed to do, he's improved a little bit..still bad.

Interesting. You're normally screaming how upset you are that players don't put in the work to take care of themselves, their profession, and so on.

At his current rate of growth he should reach mediocrity by 2017.

i think it should be a given considering it is your craft, and your getting paid copious amounts of money, the ones that dont, i have 0 respect for, the ones that do are doing what they should be doing out of respect for their employer, their fans, their teammates, and themselves, basically its for their own good..maybe i worded that wrong..but when you take it to the level wake does, then your talking about changing the game.

Jerry was OK at LT When he filled in there, if his knee isn't still an issue I'd like to see him at RT. IDK if he even got snaps there in camp.

You know things are pretty bad when your offensive line has to show a lot of improvement just to be average. Martin has to improve a lot to just be a serviceable left tackle. I still have hope for him but he's not there yet.

A leaky o-line, a qb who excels at throwing on the move, and a stubborn coach...I dunno, man, just sayin'
