I just saw the Broncos backup QB Tom Brandstater have a couple of nice bombs down the field. I looked him up and noticed he's a 2009 6th round pick. I noticed at least on one play he stepped up into the pocket which allowed him to buy himself some more time. He absolutely launched the ball. What your guys reports on this guy?
Brandstater went to Fresno State IIRC. To be honest, nothing off of the top of my head.....I'll have to find my notebook and get back to you.
Indeed he was brought in for a workout before the draft but once Pat White was selected he probably dropped out of our radar.Big guy with a good arm.
I remember he was pretty high on some boards going into last year, but was very disappointing as a senior I believe. I remember watching a handful of Bulldog games last year and he appeared very very hot and cold
